Right from the start, you need the National Spa & Pool Institute.
This international trade associations dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service, quality and craftsmanship in the spa and pool industry.
The mission of the National Spa & Pool Institute in Arizona is to ensure that people are happier and healthier as a result of using and enjoying their products.
Membership is open to pool, spa and water-feature builders, service and product suppliers, retailers and businesses serving the pool and spa industry.
Membership is open to those who are properly licensed, subscribe to the National Spa & Pool Institute code of ethics, meet and maintain the institute's exacting quality and customer service standards, and have no unresolved complaints with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.
"We work to keep a standard of excellence in the industry,: said Mike Aprati, past president of the Arizona chapter of the National Spa & Pool Institute. "Our members are committed to constantly raising the bar to be the best in the industry, being on top of new technology and other developments that the spa and pool industry has to offer."
Through networking, information exchange and training, members are assured of being on the cutting edge. The National Spa & Pool Institute is the only such organization that offer certification for builders and technicians.
"Were here to be of service to both our members and their customers," said Bob Bradley, executive director of the Arizona Chapter. "One of the top priorities for the National Spa & Pool Institute is to work very closely with the Registrar of Contractors and Better Business Bureau to help answer consumer concerns.
"If a consumer had concerns about how a member company completed a project, we work with the consumer to provide a courtesy inspection to help define whether the work falls within workmanship standards. And if there are problems, we know how to help resolve them," Bradley explained.
Bradley stressed the importance of using National Spa & Pool Institute members. "Using any company other than a National Spa & Pool Institute member for your pool or spa needs is like using a doctor who is not a member of the American Medical Association. It's just not a good idea.
The National Spa & Pool Institute also works with cities, health agencies and water-safety groups to help educate the public about water safety.
"We make presentations to schools and day-care centers and appear at community events all over Arizona to teach children how to enjoy and respect the water," Bradley said.
The National Spa & Pool Institute leads in the effort to standardize rules, regulations and legislation affecting the pool and spa industry. The result is a savings to the consumers and the highest quality pools in the world right here in Arizona.
Choosing a National Spa & Pool Institute member is always the right way to start.
